GLF Schools:

Tim Rogers

Chair of Governors:

Fiona Hyam

I have been a parent governor since October 2017, having previously been the chair of the Parent and Teacher association at Frogmore Infant School for the last two years.  I am a mother of two, my daughter joined the school in 2017 and my son will start his school journey in 2019.  As a working parent, I enjoy being able to be actively involved in the improvement and development of the school, even though I am not able to be at the school gate as often as I would like. I am an analyst for Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services, who inspect the police and fire services and do similar assessments to Ofsted.  I use this experience to support the governing body in understanding the myriad of data used to assess the school and pupil progress. I am enthused at the progress the school is making and keen to help this develop further, making Frogmore Junior school the best school it can be for our children.

Vice Chair:

Angela Barker-King

I have been a member of the School Strategy Board since June 2019. This is my first school governor role and being a mother, a member of the local community and a finance professional I believe I will be able to contribute to the governance and success of Frogmore Junior School. I believe that the best education should be available to every child regardless of background or ability and I hope to be able to support Frogmore in providing an open learning environment and high quality education for it’s pupils. My daughter joined the school this year and my son will hopefully join Frogmore in a couple of years’ time and I look forward to contributing to the success of the school over the next few years

Head Teacher:

Claire-Louise West

Parent Governors:

John Hole

I started in this role as a parent governor at Frogmore Junior School in September 2021.

I'm a Chartered Engineer working in the local office of a multi-national engineering company.

I'm a parent of three children. One has just finished at the school, a second is at the school, whilst a third will likely move up to the school next year. This means that I've seen the massive improvements the school has already made and look forward to assisting in the next steps.

I am particularly interested in ensuring that the school provides the best possible education to all its students, despite the unprecedented times of late.

Staff Governors:

Emma Richardson

I believe I am a passionate and driven Head of School who loves teaching. I am part of the Senior Leadership Team and I relish this role as it allows me to share my love of English with staff and children alike.

I have been teaching for 21 years and am currently Head of School. I have taught all year groups however, I most recently taught year 4. There are many aspects of teaching that excites me. I find the most rewarding aspect of the job is the rapport you build up with the children and how you see them progress and develop overtime. I thrive on the daily challenges that being Head of School provides and aim to make learning enthralling and exciting for all learners, no matter what their ability or background. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, reading and cross stitching.

Lisa King

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I graduated from the University of Winchester with a BA Hons in English and Psychology. Shortly after graduating, I completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Since qualifying as a teacher, I have worked within two schools teaching children across all key stages. In my previous school I was Deputy Head and I obtained my National Professional Qualification for Headship. Four years ago, I attended the University of Southampton and completed the National Award for Special Educational Needs. I then took on the role of the SENCo and feel I make a difference to the lives of young people who need some additional support with their learning. I am also the Assistant Headteacher at Frogmore and work closely with Miss Richardson to ensure that the academic, social, emotional and mental health and well-being of all pupils is paramount.

Outside of school, I am a parent of twins! This keeps me very busy and we are always out and about attending Rainbows, dance classes, football or walks and picnics in the woods. We are a family that love to be outdoors and we are always going for walks, visiting the coast and travelling around in our camper van.  When I get spare time I love to read and enjoy visiting National Trust locations.

Tracy Jeffery

I am a staff member of the School Strategy Board and have been since 2018.  I have experience of being a governor in other schools as a staff and parent governor.  I am passionate about Frogmore and love my role as a Teaching Assistant.  I have a keen interest in Pupil Premium and inclusion and ensuring that pupils receive the best care and are able to access all areas of school life.  I have four children who have all attended Frogmore and I am also a past student!
