At Frogmore Junior School we seek to nurture an excellent relationship with the parents and carers of every child in the school. We know that parents want school to be a place where they feel welcomed and where any issues will be promptly and effectively addressed. We aim to provide this environment and value all feedback.
Communication between home and school is maintained in a variety of ways. We send texts and emails using Teachers2Parents to keep parents up-to-date and to distribute letters. Class books and homework notes on a daily/weekly basis are used for specific information about each child's learning in school. They also provide parents with a direct link to their child's teacher, which is consolidated more formally via parent consultation events (autumn and spring term) and end of year reports.
Every week, we also issue a whole school newsletter with information about the past week’s events and what is coming up in the near future. The newsletter is distributed electronically by Teachers2Parents. It is also put on the Newsletters page of the website and a hard copy is posted in one of the front windows of the school (visible from the outside).
